2-6pm

Energy management is often seen as a difficult, expensive exercise that has little or no bearing on practical production. Many managers consider it a fixed and uncontrollable overhead and give it a low priority. In fact, energy efficiency is variable and controllable and reducing energy use can be a key contributor to good productivity. It costs very little to start managing and reducing energy usage. Companies can realize huge savings with little or no additional expenditure.

This 4 hour Workshop covers all the basics of energy management for plastics processors:

  • Management
  • Monitoring and targeting
  • Services
  • Processing methods - injection molding, extrusion & blow moulding
  • Operations
